Diary: dozens of strikes and protests from Tuesday

rs21 members

We face crises around the cost of living, the NHS and the climate – the Truss government faces a baptism of fire. Once the royal mourning is over, get ready for action – see our strike and protest diary.

Action by rail workers and CWU members has inspired us all, with strikes from bin workers to FE colleges. Enough is Enough has more launch rallies. 1 October will be a major focus, with strikes by both rail and postal workers and two major ports shut down. And as well as strikes over pay, local Don’t Pay groups continue to organise around fuel bills, protests are planned over climate and Palestine, plus a major demo at Tory conference. You can find details of local picket lines at Strikemap.
